a new meaning to the concept of beauty- Part One Maternity
Welcome to Part One of an exciting three-part series, starting with the maternity photo session! Last autumn, I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family for the first time (which, I’m realizing now, I never got around to blogging about). From the moment I met the mom, we clicked instantly – we just understood each other. Shortly after our initial shoot, she shared the exciting news that she was expecting and expressed her desire for me to capture her birth story. I was both honored and thrilled at the opportunity, despite feeling a tad nervous. But that’s a story for Part Two of this series – stay tuned!
Now, let’s talk about this maternity session – it was absolutely incredible. I understand that not every mom-to-be feels as comfortable in their own skin as this client does (to be honest, I’m not sure I could either), but when they do, it’s truly beautiful. Pregnancy is a remarkable journey, and witnessing what a woman’s body is capable of is nothing short of awe-inspiring. I hope you’ll fall in love with these photos just as much as I have.
