First….HAPPY 2019…my first blog post this year. It is so crazy that it is already 2019 and I started this little dream of mine in 2011…8 years?!?!?! I’d like to do something BIG for my 10 year anniversary top celebrate so if you have ANY ideas…let me know! I am not going to say this year I will blog more because literally every blog post of mine starts out like that and ya know what… I hope to but if I don’t… thats okay too. Spending most of my time serving my clients is what is really important! Speaking of ideas and serving clients….who knows of a good referral program? I’d love to have something in place!
Before moving on to the session I’m blogging today I thought I would talk a little bit about myself and what has been going on. For years I have been on the personal growth journey. I love the idea of constantly improving myself…never stop learning. I like to challenge myself to be a better person every day and when it comes to business, how can I do better for myself, the business and my clients. If I try something and I fail… I get back up and try again. This year I wanted to make some BIG changes.
If any of you have read Girl, Wash your Face then you know Rachel Hollis. As a result from reading listening to this book, I feel like my desire to grow has become accelerated. I have become emerged in “all the things” as she would say. I signed up to go to her growth conference RISE in Minneapolis this summer, pre-ordered her next book, I listen to her podcasts, I bought her gratitude journal, I went to see her documentary and the thing I am MOST excited about is that I signed up for monthly personal AND business coaching! PUMPED! I’ll often say… I’m drinking the Kool-Aid that is Rachel Hollis. I am okay with that… whatever it takes to get the messages into my head. To say that I am excited about 2019 is an understatement! Lets hope that I can have a really amazing year in review in 2020! I will try to post as much of my journey on Instagram (stories) so stay tuned! And if you are also drinking the Kool-Aid… reach out. I’d love to chat!
Anyway… Lets start this year off with a newborn session. Everything feels so fresh and new so it just made sense. The big brother was his new baby sister was so sweet. The family was full of love and I was honored to be able to capture it for them!
Enjoy! XO, Taryn
