Dallas Beauty Lounge–Pittsburgh Maternity Photos
When Dallas the owner of a local to Pittsburgh full service beauty salon called Dallas Beauty Lounge contacted me about maternity photos, I was honored. I followed Dallas on Instagram because for 2 reasons, she is on the cutting edge of nail art and all things beauty but more because I admire seeing a 26 year old that has worked her butt off to build something unique and different. Truly inspirational.
After Dallas hired me to do her maternity photos, she said “I am not really a barefoot, flowy, stand in a field kind girl”. I told her “well lets do you”.So although this isn’t my typical kind of bohemian maternity session, I loved the collaboration and vision we worked to put together. We decided to do a few indoor photos and then head into downtown Pittsburgh for the rest. It is still my style but with a Dallas’ extra AF (her words not mine and I had to look up what that meant because I am old. LOL) touch!
Her and her fiancé are just the cutest and made my job easy. They are absolutely smitten with each other and it shows in the pictures. I adore their love. 10 minutes after the session Dallas texted me that they wanted me to do their newborn photos as well. Best compliment a photographer can get.
Lastly, I wanted to thank Dallas for writing the best review ever on Yelp and for the constant shout outs on instagram. Being a fellow Pittsburgh girl boss owner, she realizes the importance and I can not thank her enough (love ya girlie).
