Baby’s First Christmas
9 days before Christmas and I’m finally taking a moment to unwind with a cup of tea and share a special session with you all. The backlog of sessions waiting to be blogged is daunting, but each one holds a special place in my heart, and I’m eager to share them with my followers.
This particular family reached out to me just days after welcoming their newest addition. Despite being fully booked, their genuine enthusiasm for a lifestyle session was impossible to resist. When clients truly understand and appreciate the essence of my work—capturing everyday moments, freezing time—I feel compelled to make it happen. They speak my language, and I’m grateful to be able to capture their story.
With the dad’s busy schedule, they hurried to decorate the Christmas tree, eager to include their newest family member in the holiday traditions. I had the privilege of capturing heartfelt moments like hanging the baby’s first stocking and ornament, as well as adorable photos of him in front of the twinkling lights.
What truly warmed my heart during this session was the bond between their fur baby and the new baby. Their dog was completely enamored with her new baby brother, following him everywhere with unwavering love and devotion. As someone who adores animals, it’s always a joy to witness their gentle transition into their role as big sibling.
And let’s not forget about the nursery—it was an absolute dream! Every detail was meticulously thought out, creating a cozy and welcoming space for their little one.
