Outdoor Newborn Session
Continuing with my blogging trends, I’m excited to share another outdoor newborn session with you all. This session was truly the original that inspired many others to follow. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family several times, starting with the big brother when he was just a newborn.
During this particular session, the family was in the midst of a move. As with most moves and renovations, things rarely go as planned or stay on schedule. However, we decided to embrace the chaos and start the session at their new house. It turned out to be a stroke of genius, thanks to Dad’s MVP idea to then head outside.
Being outdoors proved to be perfect for the little one. Babies absolutely adore being outside, and as long as they’re warm, they tend to drift off to sleep almost instantly. Pair that with the magical light of the outdoors, and it really made me reconsider the possibilities for newborn sessions. So now, I offer both indoor and outdoor sessions (weather permitting, of course).
It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do – capturing these precious memories for families in the midst of life’s beautiful chaos.
