Sometimes as photographer you question… should I shoot or shouldn’t I. Especially in Pittsburgh where the weather is so unpredictable. Sometimes things look perfect and you get out there and out of nowhere, downpour and other times, the radar shows predicted rain, you cancel the photo session and it ends up being beautiful out. And other times the weather just gives you gifts of total beauty. This was one of those nights. It was bright and sunny, stormy clouds rolled in and we had a little sprinkle but those storm clouds made the most perfect photos.
Recently I have been shooting more newborn sessions outside. Its been good to change things up a bit. It’s good for my creativity.
More about this session: I work occasionally at Anthropologie, Why? Honestly…the discount. But the icing on the cake is that I have met some pretty amazing girls. This girl being one of them. I was so excited to be one of the first to meet and snuggle this little guy and to meet his daddy. Laicy and Brandon are just so frickin cute together and I love a couple that feels comfortable to be themselves in front of the camera. So this plus the weather and location makes this one of my favorite sessions so far this fall.
Enjoy! XO, Taryn
