I
I found myself hesitating before blogging about this senior session. After all, senior photography sessions aren’t typically something I offer. However, during my annual Thanksgiving trip from Pittsburgh to Chicago to spend time with my cousins, something unexpected happened. I had the opportunity to photograph my second cousin’s senior portraits.
Now, I must admit, I was a bit apprehensive at first. This was uncharted territory for me, and I wasn’t sure if my style would translate well to this type of session. But as soon as we began shooting, all my worries melted away. I had an absolute blast working with her, and I quickly realized that my unique style still shone through in these images.
As I shared a few sneak peeks on social media, I was pleasantly surprised by the positive feedback. People were quick to comment on how they could still see my signature style reflected in these senior portraits. It was a reassuring moment that affirmed two things for me: First, I knew I had to blog about this session. And second, I felt inspired to explore the possibility of offering a very limited number of senior sessions in the future.
So, without further ado, I present to you my first senior session. It’s a new venture for me, but one that I’m incredibly excited about. Who knows where this journey will lead, but I’m eager to embrace the opportunity to capture more special moments for families and individuals alike. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new chapter!
ENJOY! xo, Taryn
